CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
At Friendswood Friends Church our Children's' Ministry is
DEDICATED TO GOD AND SERIOUS ABOUT FUN
We love children and know that they learn more when they are having fun and want to be at Friendswood Friends. We hope to communicate God's instructions, his scriptures and his love to our children. We hope to accomplish this by teaching them the stories from the Bible, helping them memorize Bible verses, the books of the Bible, songs and music. We want them to learn how to pray to and praise God. These things are so important for their growth in the spirit and in forming their own relationship with God.
In order for our church family to guide children to Christ we must make them feel welcome. Children must find a place and feel at home at Friendswood Friends.
Kids want to be where they feel loved and special.
Our hope for each child that walks (or runs) through our doors is to feel safe, comfortable and wanted. We want them to feel not only that they go to this church but also that they "are" this church. We want them to feel ownership.
